The Justice Outcomes Explorer (JOE) statistics are produced by the Criminal Justice Administrative Records System (CJARS) team. A subset of these statistics, the Justice Outcomes Explorer Socioeconomic Statistics (JOE-SS), are produced using linked CJARS and Census Bureau data holdings. The development and disclosure of these statistics are the results of a collaboration between the Census Bureau and the University of Michigan.
